To make a toddler car beds, Measure the length of the bed, add 6 to 12 inches to this measurement and mark length of plywood. Draw a simple car shape within this measurement; this will be the side panel of the car bed. Cut the shape out of the car plywood, and sand the edges to remove splinters or rough edges. Measure the foot of the bed and with the aid of this measurement, a square cut out of the multiplex to be a foot on board.
Draw the details such as doors, handles, windows, wheels and all the images you would like on the side panels. Cut a board to go the same width as the bed above the head of the child. Then draw and cut out two pieces attach to the bed on the shelf, so the shelf seems the car spoiler. Paint all the pieces of the car; you can also paint to adapt the existing toddler car beds frame if you choose. Choose matching sheets and pillow to complete the look.
