BabyTime Expo will showcase Dr. Harvey Karp and his “Happiest Baby” program at their events. Dr. Karp will speak, free of charge, on both days of the event in each city. At 2pm on Saturday, the talk will be dedicated to the Happiest Baby on Earth, while Sunday’s one hour session at 11am will concentrate on the Happiest Toddler on the Block. Dr. Harvey Karp

Dr. Karp has been a pediatrician for 30 years. His landmark books and DVDs, The Happiest Baby and The Happiest Toddler on the Block, have revolutionized our culture's understanding of the needs of babies and young children. No wonder he is the most read pediatrician in America today. The New York Times acknowledged his important contribution by proclaiming, "Roll over Dr. Spock!"

Dr. Karp’s discovery of the "calming reflex" (an off-switch for crying) has been endorsed by America's top baby specialists like the former Surgeon General and leaders of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is being taught in hospitals across the country and around the world. His discovery of a new way of eliminating 50-90% of tantrums and raising more patient and respectful toddlers is redefining the way we communicate with young children.

Dr. Karp has appeared dozens of times on shows like Good Morning America, Dr. Phil, CNN, and many other national programs. Dr. Karp is an assistant professor of pediatrics at UCLA. He is also an expert on children's health and the environment and on breastfeeding.
